About Maria Tangarife

Maria Tangarife is a New Hampshire REALTOR® with BurkeLord Real Estate, helping home buyers throughout Southern New Hampshire. Based in New Hampshire and fluent in English and Spanish, Maria brings a hands-on, personal approach to helping clients find and purchase a home.

Born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, Maria moved to the United States in 2019 in pursuit of new opportunities and a new chapter in life. She has since made Southern New Hampshire her home and developed a strong connection to the communities and lifestyle of the region.

Before beginning her career in real estate, Maria worked in the hospitality industry, where she developed the communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills she now brings to her work with home buyers.

Helping Home Buyers in Southern New Hampshire

Maria focuses on helping buyers navigate the process of finding and purchasing a home. She works with clients throughout Southern New Hampshire, from property searches and showings through offers, inspections, and the steps leading toward closing.

As part of BurkeLord Real Estate, Maria works closely with Bill Burke and Jennifer Lord and has access to the experience and resources of the entire team. She also conducts open houses for BurkeLord listings and works directly with prospective buyers she meets along the way.

Whether someone is purchasing their first home, relocating to New Hampshire or simply looking for their next home, Maria's goal is to provide clear communication and help clients understand what comes next throughout the process.

A Personal Understanding of Relocation and Homeownership

Maria understands that moving involves more than finding the right property.

Having moved from Colombia to the United States, established a life in a new country, and become a homeowner herself, she has firsthand experience with the uncertainty and excitement that can come with relocation and homeownership.

That experience gives Maria a personal perspective when working with buyers who are moving to a new community or navigating homeownership for the first time. She understands the importance of asking questions, learning about an unfamiliar area, and having someone available to explain the process along the way.

Bilingual Real Estate Support

Maria is fluent in both English and Spanish and can communicate directly with Spanish-speaking home buyers and family members when language might otherwise create a barrier during the real estate process.

Her bilingual ability also supports the broader BurkeLord team when Spanish-language communication is needed with clients.

Maria works alongside Bill Burke and Jennifer Lord as part of BurkeLord Real Estate. Bill oversees the team and its seller listings, while Jennifer manages operations and transaction management. Maria's primary focus is working directly with home buyers.

This team structure allows Maria to focus on helping buyers while drawing on BurkeLord's broader residential real estate experience throughout Southern New Hampshire.

Outside of Real Estate

Outside of real estate, Maria enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, staying active through fitness and exercise, exploring local restaurants and communities throughout New England, and taking advantage of sunny days whenever she can.

She also enjoys creating real estate content and sharing her interest in homeownership with others.
