About Jennifer Lord

Jennifer Lord is a New Hampshire REALTOR® and Director of Operations at BurkeLord Real Estate in Chester, NH. In real estate since 2014, Jen oversees transaction management, marketing, and client support for home buyers and sellers throughout Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts.

Born in Salem, Massachusetts, Jen has called Northern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire home throughout her life. She graduated from Methuen High School in 1997 and studied at the University of Massachusetts Lowell before moving to New Hampshire in 2019. Today, she calls Chester home.

Jen began working in real estate in December 2014. After years of working alongside Bill Burke, she moved into a partnership role when they formed BurkeLord Real Estate in 2021 and became the team's Director of Operations.

A Hands-On Role in Every Transaction

Jen's role at BurkeLord goes well beyond managing the office behind the scenes. As a licensed New Hampshire REALTOR®, she is actively involved in helping BurkeLord's buyers and sellers throughout the real estate transaction.

Once a property is under contract, Jen manages the transaction process through closing for both seller listings and buyer purchases. She helps coordinate the many moving pieces involved in a transaction, keeps clients informed, works through administrative details, and helps make sure important steps don't get overlooked.

Her work can also take her directly into the field. Jen assists with property showings, conducts open houses, attends home inspections, and meets with appraisers as part of BurkeLord's hands-on approach to serving clients.

That combination of real estate experience and transaction management gives Jen a perspective that extends beyond any single part of buying or selling a home. She understands what needs to happen after an offer is accepted and how the details between contract and closing can affect the overall client experience.

Director of Operations at BurkeLord Real Estate

As Director of Operations, Jen oversees BurkeLord's administrative operations, transaction management, and marketing. She also helps train and support new team members as they become part of BurkeLord Real Estate.

Her role is centered on organization, communication, and making sure clients continue receiving hands-on support throughout their transaction. While Bill oversees the broader business and serves as the listing agent on BurkeLord listings, Jen plays a key role in keeping transactions and operations moving, both behind the scenes and in direct work with clients.

For clients, that means there is someone paying attention to the details after a home goes under contract, not simply waiting for closing day.

Working With Home Buyers and Sellers

Jen's experience includes supporting both sides of the residential real estate process.

She works with BurkeLord's seller clients as their homes move from an accepted offer through inspections, appraisal and closing. She also supports buyer transactions and can assist with showings, open houses, inspections and other parts of the home-buying process.

Local Roots in Massachusetts and New Hampshire

Jen's connection to the area spans both sides of the New Hampshire-Massachusetts border.

She was born in Salem, Massachusetts, attended school in Methuen and studied at UMass Lowell before eventually making Chester, New Hampshire home. Her personal history in the region complements BurkeLord's work with buyers and sellers throughout Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts.

That cross-border background gives Jen firsthand familiarity with many of the communities BurkeLord serves and with what draws people to this part of New England.

Community Involvement

Jen is also involved in BurkeLord Real Estate's support of the local community.

BurkeLord has served as the presenting sponsor of the Nutfield Holiday Parade for the past three years and is returning as presenting sponsor again this year. The team was also a major sponsor of Chester's 300th Anniversary celebration and regularly sponsors Chester youth sports teams.

For Jen, Chester is both home and a community she and BurkeLord actively support.

Outside of Real Estate

Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf, going to the beach and staying active outdoors. She lives in Chester with her family and enjoys the New England communities she has called home throughout her life.
